Large and clear in a very short distance
Bright and clean video for a great price

  2. Francisco Escalera

    A good quality product.
A good quality product at a good price.

  3. I require depth

    Terrible
It’s terrible. Light leaked edges. Awful colors. And it’s terrible with no mount.

  4. Emin evan

I wasn’t expecting this projector to be this good, but it completely exceeded my expectations! The image quality is crisp, colors are vibrant, and the brightness is perfect even with some lights on. Setting it up was super easy, thanks to the auto-focus and keystone correction. The built-in apps like Netflix and YouTube make streaming effortless, and the WiFi and Bluetooth work flawlessly. The short throw is a huge plus for smaller rooms. Whether for movies or gaming, this projector delivers a cinema-like experience at home. Totally worth it!

  5. Stanley

It is not bright enough to watch in day time, but I can’t complain too much for this price.

  6. Umme

This projector is honestly amazing! The picture quality is super sharp, and the brightness is perfect even in a dim room. I love that Netflix and other apps are built in—no need for extra devices. The WiFi and Bluetooth work smoothly, and setting it up was a breeze with the auto-focus and keystone correction. Plus, the short-throw feature is great for small spaces. Perfect for movies and gaming. Definitely worth it!

This 1080p projector comes with a reasonable sized but lightweight remote control with a number of pre-set shortcut buttons. (Batteries not included). There’s a very short mains cable included. It’s a small figure of eight type socket if you want to swap out the cable which features a moulded UK plug. The unit has a standard 3.5mm audio jack, also HDMI and USB slots. It also features an inbuilt focusing system rather than the manual twist type you find on many cheaper projectors. The manual makes no reference to how to focus. The remote has the buttons you need to zoom in and out to focus. During focussing, an image is displayed which helps you sharpen up things. It works really well. The operating system is WhaleOS which is Android based. There’s a big range of apps available, including Amazon Prime, Netflix, Disney and YouTube. These are accessible through the remote directly. The App store is not the same as the Google Play Store and you’ll find that some, but not all of the UK Catchup apps are listed. I found ITVX and My5 but couldn’t see the iPlayer app. There are lots of apps to try including the inbuilt WhaleTV which will give you lots of content to play around with. 5G wifi worked well considering the distance I tried the unit from my router. Menu selection is speedy. There’s loads of media player apps including VLC available to download. Downloading apps is quick over 5G wifi. This large black coloured projector is quite a bit heavier than some of the cheaper projectors you can buy. But, it isn’t quite as heavy as some standard projectors. The LCD lightsource should last a long time and there doesn’t seem to be an option to replace it. But, it should work for tens of thousands of hours. The light output for the price is quite good and is much better than those super budget projectors. It doesn’t match ones costing hundreds of pounds more, but it’s certainly usable in a dark room.It does have quite a short throw for a budget projector. There’s automatic keystone correction or manual if you prefer. The automatic works quite well, but as always with these projectors there will be some distortion. You might need to play around with positioning and deciding how to mount/place the unit given the short throw. The volume is really quite loud for a projector at this price. There are also options to equalise the sound with some presets. I found music works quite well. There’s a ‘user’ option but no equaliser setting was offered on that particular option. You can connect bluetooth headphones or speakers. And, a keyboard should you wish. Further control includes an AI microphone option which you can access through the remote. I’ve used the Whale OS before for this and it works well. There’s no Google or Alexa integration. There are picture presets. For me, the standard setting worked the best. I couldn’t work out how to tweak brightness/contrast/colour manually. Regardless, I thought the picture, brightness, sharpness and contrast was pretty good for a device at this low price point. The issues I have with the unit were mainly to do with the USB option. I found it really hard to physically get my memory sticks into the slots. Also I had difficulty accessing files on some of my memory sticks. Sometimes, it didn’t recognise the stick at all, and on some sticks it didn’t see the files on there at all. I found that some of my video files were very stuttery and unwatchable. Files which I know play fine on my LG TV. Some, however, worked fine. I also struggled to find my media server on some of the apps I downloaded, including VLC and MX Pro, even though I’d enabled all the various permissions. I didn’t try any screencasting but it’s said to be supported by this device. Connecting an input to the HDMi was fine. My Roku stick worked well for sure. There’s lots of references to 4k playback. That just means it will display the 4k, they won’t be in 4k resolution as the native resolution is normal HD at 1080p.Fan noise was evident, but as mentioned the volume level goes pretty high which helps to drown it out.Overall, given the low price of the unit it’s worth considering for the picture, even though some of the ancillary functions fell a little short.Recommended if you haven’t got hundreds to spend on a brighter model.

I bought this for my sister’s 18th birthday party. The picture quality is adjustable but the sound is really loud much louder than my actual TV speaker. I wish this came up with a stand.
