I bought this device to test the overall air quality in my house and discovered that there was a radon problem.High levels were found in my child’s room, and I deeply regret continuously exposing them to such a harmful environment. I highly recommend the AirCurie to anyone looking to minimize their radon exposure.This device is easy to use. There’s no need for an account or an app; just plug it in, and you can see the results directly on the screen. It measures radon quickly and accurately, which means you can check different areas of your home and easily identify the most dangerous spots. It provides updates every 10 minutes, so you can see the impact of opening windows or doors on radon levels. Safe ranges are indicated with blue and green colors, while dangerous levels are shown in yellow and red. Plus, its compact and sleek design fits well anywhere in the house.One downside is that it doesn’t provide historical data. While real-time radon data is great for knowing when to ventilate, it would be even better if we could see past radon levels. Understanding our home’s average radon levels is also important.Radon is a leading cause of lung cancer, and we must not overlook it. Setting up radon mitigation systems in bedrooms and basements and continuously monitoring their effectiveness is essential. AirCurie is a good device for monitoring air quality and intuitively alerting you to radon risks.

It was a good investment!
I was skeptical that it would be different from the ad, but when I compared it to other detectors, not only did AirCurie’s accuracy match, but the measurement speed was way faster than I expected.After connecting the power, it only takes 30 minutes for the first reading to come out, and after that, it displays the radon level in real time every 10 minutes. It’s really amazing.When the radon level increases, the LED color changes, which means that ventilation is necessary. If you open the window and check the readings again an hour later, you will see that it has dropped.I liked the LED light because it allowed me to check the air quality in color without having to look at the screen.(When sleeping, press and hold the touch button to enter sleep mode and the LED turns off.)The LCD screen is easy to understand and can measure not only radon but also PM, temperature and humidity, and CO2, so you don’t have to buy another device.I noticed in past reviews that the temperature was mentioned in Celsius, but it seems that the product I purchased has been updated to Fahrenheit.The only downside to this device is that it requires a separate adapter. (C cable is provided, but no adapter.)Still, I sincerely recommend it because it is cheaper than other products and has more features.This device is truly worth the money.

Very pleased with this meter
I was feeling very fatigued, poor memory and developed a constant cough. My PT was concerned I may have radon expose, sure enough it soared to the mid to high 40s. The meter is quite sensitive and you get a radon reading in 30 minutes. I tested the meter on two other people’s home and it registered 2.2. Once my home was mitigated, my radon reading lowered to .5 to 1.1 and my cough went away, my energy is coming back and my memoryis improving. It saved my life!
