An affordable big screen theatrical level experience is possible at home. This particular projector, which is superb on every level, provides that experience. The Ono 3 Pro has a truly premium feeling. It’s evident from the clean design aesthetics, that includes an internal power supply, to the high quality reflective plastic around the lens. The convenient faux leather carrying handle is yet another nice touch that keeps you from getting finger prints on the surface.The Onoayo logo appears briefly when you turn the Ono 3 Pro on for the first time. After that, there’s a brief series of menus that allows you to adjust your preferences. This initial process is thankfully very quick, since the most important aspect is simply setting up your wireless connections. If you notice that the projected image isn’t aligning with your screen, you can use the 4 point key stone correction option to fix it. Once you’ve completed the initial settings, you’ll see a list of apps that you can choose from. Some of these apps include Netflix, YouTube, YouTube for Kids, and Prime Video. You can add quite a few more apps, such as Plex, which has a huge amount of current shows and films. You’ll also have access to a very deep settings menu. Here, you can dial in your picture preferences, and choose how your projector boots up. Since my PC build is essentially a media center, I chose the HDMI option. Now after the Ono 3 Pro logo screen appears, it instantly displays my PC desktop screen. The Ono 3 Pro allows you to mirror your Android, or iPhone, and use it to display videos and photos in horizontal, or vertical orientation. The settings tab has a few different Dolby Digital Audio output options. This enables your HDMI cable to carry true surround sound from the Ono 3 Pro’s apps and videos, to your home theater, or soundbar. Many entry level projectors, including the three previous Onoayo Projectors, only offer stereo output through HDMI cables. Clearly, no expenses were spared when it comes to the Ono 3 Pro’s premium brand integration. Even without an external media source, you can simply use a few of the Ono 3 Pro’s free apps to enjoy high quality video, with full Dolby Digital Surround Sound support. The projector can even reach 300” screen sizes.In terms of the Ono 3 Pro’s sound, one other aspect to note is its built in Bluetooth capable stereo speakers. They’re able to get fairly loud, however that’s largely dependent on the video, or audio source. The volume fluctuations between different media sources occurs because every single film, show, and song, is mastered at different audio levels. Using the A.I. audio leveling function in the Ono 3 Pro’s settings corrects this issue, though it changes the original intentions of the audio recording process.Another nice feature that doesn’t get mentioned much, especially when buying projectors that fall within entry level price points, is noise. Onoayo’s previous projector, the AY3, which also happened to be my first projector, won first place in the low operating noise category out of 20 competitors. The price range for that projector showdown was $80-$150. The Ono 3 Pro is surprisingly far more quiet than the AY3.Now the real star of the show is the picture, and this is where the Ono 3 Pro takes the crown. Its native resolution is 1080p at 60 hertz, however my PC shows that the Ono 3 Pro can accurately display 4k, or 2160p, at 30 hertz. If you’re watching films, this looks fantastic. For general PC use, the smoothness that’s offered with 60 hertz makes it preferable to me. With everything set up properly, you can use the remote to adjust the focus levels perfectly. There’s one aspect that many projectors in all price tiers face, and that’s external lighting. In my case, the ideal times for using the Ono 3 Pro are between 6 PM and 8 AM. My apartment faces the sun, and even with my blinds fully closed, they still allow enough light in, to dim the projected image. Once 6 PM hits, the picture is incredibly good. It needs to be said that seeing films on a 150” wrinkle free screen, which cost me all of $55, is absolutely astonishing.To get the best results from the Ono 3 Pro on a PC, you’ll need to enter your GPU’s display settings tab. From there, you’ll select your display resolution, then choose RGB, followed by Full Range at 8 Bits. This will give you the best color and black levels that the Ono 3 Pro can offer. If you don’t have a GPU, and you have an integrated graphics solution, such as Intel Iris Pro, or AMD’s Radeon Vega Integrated Graphics, these settings will still be the same in your display tab. From the Ono 3 Pro’s picture settings menu, my custom preferences for the best image results are:Mode Selection: UserBrightness: 60Contrast: 50Saturation: 64Sharpness: 4Noise Reduction: MediumColor Temperature: UserRed: 10Green: 0Blue: -4It should also be noted that my PC’s Nvidia 40 series GPU allows the Ono 3 Pro to choose 12 Bit color, using the YCbCr 4:2:2 color profile, coupled with the 12 Bit Limited Color preset. This setting is essentially Dolby Vision HDR 10, and technically, since the Ono 3 Pro doesn’t display HDR color, it will still only be displaying the full range RGB spectrum of 16.7 million colors. Those color hues, and tones, will impressively be rendered with a certified 98% color gamut rating. A 100% color gamut rating is only given to displays that can render solid black levels. Despite being 2% shy of reaching that point, the Ono 3 Pro produces stunning colors. With the Full Range RGB settings, coupled with the right projector screen, and a fully dark room, the Ono 3 Pro can get just a few shades shy of solid black levels. There’s no way to give this projector anything less than 5 stars, since it exceeded all of my expectations in every regard.

Desde que empiezo a usar el proyector, tengo claro que apuesta por ofrecer una experiencia de cine en casa bastante convincente, aunque no está exento de matices que conviene considerar.Nada más tenerlo en las manos, noto que es un aparato cómodo de mover y bien acabado. Su diseño en negro mate, con líneas suaves y un peso que apenas llega a los 0,9 kg, hacen que resulte sencillo trasladarlo entre habitaciones o incluso llevármelo de viaje. El asa de cuero no solo cumple una función práctica, sino que además aporta un toque elegante. Es evidente que el diseño busca ser funcional, especialmente para quienes no quieren complicarse con dispositivos pesados o engorrosos.En cuanto lo pongo en marcha, me sorprende la rapidez con la que puedo configurar todo gracias al sistema operativo MOVIN OS. Es ágil, intuitivo y bastante parecido a lo que espero de una Smart TV moderna. Acceder a plataformas como Netflix, Prime Video o YouTube directamente desde el proyector, sin necesidad de conectar dispositivos adicionales, me facilita mucho las cosas. No tengo que lidiar con ratones o adaptadores: desde el mando, controlo todas las aplicaciones de manera fluida. Personalizo la pantalla principal a mi gusto y navego por los menús sin ninguna complicación.La calidad de imagen que ofrece es más que correcta para el precio que tiene. Aunque se anuncia soporte para 4K, sé que la resolución nativa es 1080p; es decir, el proyector reescala contenido 4K pero no reproduce esa calidad de forma real. Aun así, los colores son vivos, el contraste es fuerte y, en una habitación con un control razonable de luz ambiental, la experiencia visual es muy satisfactoria. La luminosidad real ronda los 850 ANSI lúmenes, algo que conviene tener claro porque puede resultar insuficiente si intento proyectar en exteriores durante el día. Eso sí, el control de color mediante inteligencia artificial funciona francamente bien: adapta la tonalidad dependiendo del tipo de contenido, consiguiendo escenas naturales y matizadas.El apartado sonoro me convence aún más. Integra altavoces estéreo certificados por Dolby que consiguen un volumen elevado y un sonido envolvente que, para el tamaño del aparato, no me esperaba. Si quiero más potencia o prefiero utilizar auriculares, puedo conectar otros dispositivos mediante Bluetooth sin que se note retraso en la transmisión. Esta versatilidad me resulta muy útil, sobre todo cuando quiero disfrutar de películas o música sin molestar a otros.Una de las funciones que más me ha gustado es la corrección trapezoidal 4D y 4P junto con el enfoque eléctrico. Desde el mando a distancia consigo ajustar fácilmente la imagen para que quede bien centrada, incluso si coloco el proyector en posiciones poco convencionales. Además, puedo modificar el tamaño de la proyección entre el 50% y el 100% sin necesidad de mover físicamente el equipo, lo cual me viene genial para adaptarlo a espacios más pequeños.No obstante, hay aspectos que prefiero tener en cuenta. Aunque la calidad de imagen y sonido es buena para su categoría, no puedo esperar resultados de un proyector de alta gama. Además, el supuesto 4K puede dar lugar a equívocos si no se conoce que realmente es un escalado. Por otro lado, he visto que algunas ofertas promocionales no reflejan descuentos reales, por lo que conviene comprobar bien el precio antes de lanzarse a la compra.En el terreno técnico, el proyector viene bien equipado: incorpora conectividad WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, puertos USB, HDMI y salida de audio. Su sistema óptico sellado y el doble ventilador interno no solo reducen la entrada de polvo, sino que también ayudan a mantener temperaturas de funcionamiento adecuadas, prolongando la vida útil del dispositivo. Cambiar el filtro antipolvo resulta sorprendentemente sencillo gracias a un pequeño compartimento con sistema de resorte.

Muy buen proyector. Tras probarlo me ha convencido su buena calidad de imagen, destacando la gama de colores, el sonido ( yo lo conecto a unos altavoces externos), lo compacto que es para el brillo que proyecta, el diseño elegante, las aplicaciones que lleva instaladas para ver contenido en streaming, las funcionalidades del mando a distancia el cual se ve que tiene calidad, lo fácil que es la limpieza y mantenimiento, se puede instalar boca arriba o boca abajo y tiene una pequeña pestaña en la parte inferior para levantar un poco el foco aunque se puede regular la pantalla arriba abajo a izquierda y a derecha con el propio mando. De día si no hay sol, en interior de una vivienda se puede ver la proyección, cosa que otros proyectores no lo pueden conseguir porque no tienen esa fuerza de brillo. La configuración es fácil e intuitiva e incluye un cable HDMI. La conexión inalámbrica de Wi-Fi es un plus y el procesador del proyector trabaja bastante bien ya que no he apreciado Cortes en las películas que proyecto ni tampoco se pierde calidad de imagen. El manual viene en varios idiomas incluyendo el idioma español por lo que además de ser intuitiva la instalación con el manual no tienes problema ninguno para ponerlo en funcionamiento en un momento. En general estoy satisfecho con este proyector y hasta el momento no me ha dado fallo alguno. Yo proyecto sobre una pared de color marrón y el brillo del proyector me permite ver la imagen, aún en esas condiciones, con calidad.

He adquirido recientemente este proyector con función ” smart tv ” para regalarselo a mi hijo por su cumpleaños, quería tener una tele en su cuarto y debido a la forma del mismo y a los colores de las paredes la unica manera que encontré de solucionarlo era un proyector que apuntara al techo encima de la cama, el resultado ha sido todo un acierto. Mi hijo está encantado ya que por fin puede ver el contenido multimedia que quiera en su cuarto ya que trae rodas las plataformas instaladas de fabrica o incluso conectar el dispositivo que quiera al proyector gracias a su puerto hdmi.La relación calidad precio del mismo es buenisima ya que la calidad del mismo es altisima a precio de gama media.En cuanto a caracteristicas destaca la facil instalación que hace que en cuestión de 2 minutos ya lo tienes operativo sin necesidad de configuraciones complejas, su enfoque electrico y correccióntrapezoidal hace que se ajuste facilmente a cualquier distancia y ángulo. La calidad de imagen es fhd nativo y la calidad de imagen es muy buena, con un brillo alto capaz de verse perfectamente incluso sin oscuridad absoluta.El dispositivo cuenta con altavoces hifi con sonido envolvente y cuenta además con soporte wifi 6 y bluetooth 5.2En resumen mi niño cuenta con todo lo necesario para disfrutar del contenido multimedia que quiera durante muchos años
