Small, with a tight fit – Perfect combination
These zip ties are a novel ideal. I had never heard of or seen something like this until browsing on Amazon and was glad to be able to select these. These have a “T” shape and a straight-line kind of fastening profile. Meaning, with a regular zip tie there’s a loop *around* the object or some kind of loop that is created to secure things together. With this kind of zip tie it fastens your item like a button.I have them in use on my road bicycle and will be taking before and after pictures when I repair a bunch of broken clips in two of my car engine bays, which was the initial reason for getting these. I like to get under the hood and wrench it up, and in the process some clips inevitably break. Others were already missing when I purchased the car, so it’s time to repair other mechanic’s boo-boos too. There were options for 50 pieces per bag or 100 pieces, so made sure to get the most to get the highest bang for the buck. At 100 in the pack I’m confident that even when doing car repairs and needing to possibly cut the zip ties? I will effectively have these with me for the rest of my life, haha.Enjoy!

Very handy item to keep in vehicle tool bo
I had seen many videos of similar items and never thought I would be in need of this. I recently broke one of the clips that hold a plastic cover on my Honda Pilot engine bay. Instead of going to the auto shop and buying 1 clip, I decided to get these cable ties. They are cheaper (per piece) and have multiple functions. I was able to fix my problem very quickly. Now I just have few in a small miscellaneous tool bag I leave in my trunk area, just in case I need them again. They are strong and very sturdy. I would say even stronger and better than the actual auto clips. Definitely something to have! I’m sure I will have many more uses for them in the future.

Solid zip tie with nice finish trim
I needed something to hold the wheel-well lining in place for one of our cars. This tie has a unique button stop that serves as a trim cap so I thought i would give them a try.I knocked off one star simply because you have to make sure you orient the cap properly in order to engage the notches in the strap. They could have run the notches on both sides of the strap to prevent this but the other side is smooth. If you slip the button cap on oriented wrong it won’t grab the notches and lock into place. Other than that, these have worked well.

Works as advertised – 100 for this price is a great bargain
Works as advertised I did have to trim off a bit of the “T” ends for smaller hole on door panel that I did not have rear access to. With that smaller hole I did use needle nose pliers to force “T” portion through hole, pulled back and the “T” held/caught from the inside and then simple push on of cap via zip section, tightened down securely and sniped to length.easy, easy install if you have access from the back, as you just thread the longer zip portion through hole and zip lock the cap as needed. It would appear the caps are somewhat smaller for the larger body panel plug holes in the wheel wells, but a simple stainless washer to gap the hole and then the cap will work fine.100 for this price is a great bargain. I ended up handing out groups of 10 to family/friends as I will never use 100, hah.

    I am a Lube Technician.
I’ve been using these quite a bit, and while the concept is excellent, not all of these ties are created equal.First off, I want to say that whoever came up with this idea deserves credit—these things are genuinely useful. However, the quality varies significantly depending on the brand. I’ve tried ties from three different manufacturers so far, and only one brand has given me zero issues. The main problem lies in the design and materials. Some of these ties have weak or cheaply made teeth that don’t grip securely. They tend to slip under even moderate weight—not excessive force—and once they fail, the teeth are damaged and the tie is unusable. That defeats the purpose of using a heavy-duty fastener. If you’re planning to buy these (and you should, because they are very handy), look for ties that have teeth on both sides. Those have consistently held up for me without any failures. If those aren’t available, try to find ones that are noticeably thicker—they tend to perform better, though it’s not always easy to tell just by looking.Overall, these ties are great tools with a lot of practical uses. I’ve personally used them to secure loose skid plates on cars, and they’ve saved me more than once. My suggestion to manufacturers: stop cutting corners and make the dual-sided teeth standard—they’re significantly more effective and reliable.

An excellent product for mounting objects to a wall or other flat surface.
I have used standard “zip ties” for many years mainly to secure bundles of electrical wires, but there are some applications in which standard zip ties don’t work very well. One particular application is when I need to secure an item to a vertical backing (such as a wall or other similar structure) that has a single blind hole for mounting other objects. These new zip ties are perfect for such application because the T-head of the zip tie can be bent or folded down in order to allow me to pass the T-head through the hole of the wall before mounting that object (such as a sign) over the hole in the wall. That works because these new zip ties require the use of a separate “buckle” that secures the item against the wall before cutting off the excess length of the tie. This is an excellent product for many applications in which a standard zip tie cannot be used.

    Universal works great.
It’s a nice universal clips. It works far most anything that straight through.Easy to use very happy with this product instead of hundreds of different fasteners just use these.
