It’s so frustrating when you lose a remote and can’t carry out all functions of the device without it! The original Sony replacement was way more expensive than this after market, which looks almost exactly the same and works great for a better price.

I was really worried that I probably hay to buy a new Blueray but thanks that I was able to get a new remote control it was cheaper and I could use my old blueray, the thing I love the most is that I don’t need to do anything except to put some batteries and that’s it, so thank you very much 😊

Perfect replacement but only for the player.
The Sony version of this remote will also control a TV (Power, Input, Volume, etc.). The replacement, although it has all the same TV buttons, will not (at least not on my Samsung or Sharp TVs).But it does work perfectly on the player. I assumed the TV functions from the image & should’ve checked before ordering. I’m keeping it as a back up anyway & will just find a universal remote.

I finally caved and bought a replacement remote after a thorough search for the original. All I had to do was put in a couple of batteries, and this remote was ready to go — no programming required. All you need to do is make sure your player is on the posted list of compatible devices.

Works Perfectly for Sony Blu-Ray Player BDP-S3200
I bought this as a replacement for the Sony Bku-Ray Player BDP-S3200, which can only power on and open and close the door (not actually run anything) without a remote. All I had to do was put 2 AAA batteries into the remote and it worked perfectly. This is a great replacement to the original remote.
