Who knew there were so many things to consider when changing a lightbulb?
LED light bulbs have changed everything in the last 10 years. They have reduced electricity costs substantially and are much better than incandescent or halogen in cost of usage and heat generated. Since being introduced the bulb cost has come down and design improvements have gone up. There are things I look at when buying these bulbs:1) bulb shape and size (A19 are smaller and A26 are similar in shape but larger…the latter just barely fit in one of my ceiling lights)2) wattage equivalent (9 watt =60 watt incandescent) (14-15 = 100 watt)3) color (warm= 2,700; daylight = 4,000; 5,000 cool white) The descriptions above aren’t always the same but generally they are yellowish, neutral white to blue/white.4) lumens (this is super important because the higher lumens the more spread of light. It doesn’t help to have a high wattage equivalent with a bright light but only projects light 5’ out!Reviews will guide you on quality of manufacturer and Gozig bulbs are good for you to start with. Then look at each of the 4 items above to focus on the bulb you want. I chose these bulbs for my office where a bright clean light was wanted but also gave me ability to put light on dimmable switch for toning things down after work. These bulbs are great, don’t get too hot, nice color, and dim without any flickering.

These can get so very bright!
Very bright lights- really glad I can dim them! Great for a dark room (literally makes it look like outside daytime)! Works well! These can dim very low as they can go the opposite and shine very bright!

Good value. 3000K color temperature good choice for inside home use. Nice and bright.
I first installed 6 bulbs (4000K) of this brand in hallway ceiling lights and found them to be too white. Then, I changed them out to the same brand but now 3000K which I found to be just right for home indoor use. Much happier with the light color now which I consider warmer and “cozy” rather than the stark white of the first set. They are also quite bright due to the 1500 lumen rating. I chose these smaller A19 size bulbs because they are compact and fit into tighter fixtures.Why only 4 stars? I question the accuracy of this supplier in regards to color temperature rating and lumen value. The previous 4000K bulbs appeared to my eyes to be closer to 5000K and the brightness seems lower than what 1500 lumens should be. Still, I’m satisfied for my hallway usage.

Good bulb for the money.
I have had so many of this type of bulb that is supposed to last a long time that didn’t last very long. So far these are holding up, but I haven’t had them very long. The light color is great. The price was good. We will have to wait to see how the lifespan is.

flickering and half-bright
A little over 3 months of use and 2 bulbs out of 8 are already flickering and half-bright. Sadly I’m just past the 90 day window so I’m stuck with a box of lemons.

Bright warm gold glow
3000 K color gives a warm gold glow. If you need a white light choose a high color temperature. The brightness is great.

Did not dim well. Not bright.
These bulbs did not perform as I had hoped. Did not seem very bright, and did not dim well. Not a wide range of brightness from dimmest to brightest. Also having some trouble with flickering. I replaced with Philips dimmable flicker free. The Philips bulbs are very bright, and have worked much better, and dim better.
