Great Bulbs; Good Value. Very Bright!
These 300-Watt Light Bulbs are Terrific. I put 4 of them in a place where I need a LOT of light (crafts room) and believe me, these things light up the room like a sunny afternoon in July in Palm Springs! They’re much heavier and bigger than other bulbs, but that should be expected because of their power output. I think the weight is due to “heat sinks” installed in the bulb to cool it off. So far, no flickering at all, and they dim quite well. Their functionality is excellent, and as yet, I can’t complain about their Lifespan because they all still work (4 of them). The color is just what I ordered, so I’m satisfied with that as well. Good bulbs. I recommend these for areas where you need a lot of light!

Incredibly Bright!
I bought this bulb in the hopes that it would light my garage sufficiently. Boy, does it ever! I have one bulb socket in the garage door opener. It’s an older garage door opener, so it was made for incandescent bulbs up to 100 watts. I had a 75 watt equivalenty LED bulb in there previously and the garage was just dim all the time. This bulb lights it up like nothing I could have hoped for.Now, the caveats. This bulb is LARGE. It may not fit where you need it. That’s understandable as it needs more space for extra LEDs inside. For me, it JUST fit where I needed it.Also, since I just received it a few days ago, I have absolutely no idea how long it will last. Hopefully, a good long time, as LED bulbs tend to, but I won’t know for some time yet.All that having been said, I just ordered two more for the external light above my backyard sliding glass door. I’m hoping most or all of the backyard will be lit up at night when I turn on the lights so that my dogs can be seen when I let them out in the evening. Fingers crossed.

They are very bright with little heat but I expected them to be brighter given the lumen rating. Still I’m giving them a try to light up my welding area for very small TIG repairs.

I was skeptical about the claimed 300 watt equivalent brightness of this bulb, because such comparisons of LED bulbs to traditional incandescent types are in my experience typically misleading and false. They may use 1/3 less electricity as claimed, but they are also only 1/3 as bright. At least in the spectrum of useful visible light. (They may be quite bright in certain color ranges, but I have normal human eyes and that isn’t helpful to me.)But, my current home state of California has outlawed regular incandescent light bulbs, and Amazon refuses to ship them here. So I bought this one, and figured if it didn’t live up to the claimed brightness I would just buy 3 or 4 more and install some additional electrical sockets for them to get enough illumination for my needs.Therefore I was pleased and surprised by this UNILAMP. Without a light meter and scientific tests I can’t prove it, but it does seem to my eye to be comparably bright with the old 300 watt incandescent bulb it replaced. Just this one bulb is satisfactory for my illumination requirements and I don’t need to supplement it with more, so the greenie meanies don’t need to come glue themselves to my doorstep in protest of my defiant carbon footprint.
