Great idea. Love these.
Are these great or what? Put these in your porch light fixtures and leave the switch on. These turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn. Bulb lasts forever.

Half the price of the GE LED A19 bulbs, these bulbs operate and look identical. They turn on around dusk when there’s still some light out. Perfect sensitivity in my opinion. They are super easy to use – just twist into a socket like a normal light bulb and flip the light switch. Done. Also, I go with soft white (yellow) because it’s much easier on my eyes at night.I like knowing that I don’t have to turn the outdoor lights on. I bought the higher-end version from GE, too, but these seem just as good. Maybe GE’s bulbs will last longer, we’ll see. Great item!

Works as advertised but this bulb was too bright for my location (pathway on the side of house). It turns on and off properly at dusk and dawn.

Bright white and dusk to dawn works perfectly. I had a motion sensor and it was erratic on working. This is better to use as a crime deterrent.

These bulbs are BRIGHT. Almost too bright. The dusk to dawn function works really good.

These automatic light bulbs are wonderful. So simple and if the power goes out they don’t have to be reset like the switch timers. No electrical installation just screw them in and the lights will come on at dusk and off at dawn. OR if for some reason you want to turn them on and off then just leave the switch off and turn the lights on when you need them. Soooo simple and worry free.
