The signal from my router was not strong enough although my home office was only about 20ft away. So, I was in the market for something that would solve that problem. I initially purchased another router but the signal was spotty at best. I wanted something that would give me a strong signal and the same speed as if my laptop was right on top of my router.A couple of these brands look the same but this one is the real deal. With a range of 12999 sq ft I don’t think anyone would have a problem using it. I can even get a great signal outside my house as well if I’m in the back yard.This was well worth the money and it also makes no noise. I can stream videos lighten fast with no issues. It also looks very sleek and modern. It is a bit big but I think that is because it’s so much more powerful. I tried a smaller one that promised 10,000 sq ft coverage but never delivered. So, I am very happy that I found this product because it works like it should. The only downside is that it does cover both outlets when plugged in. This was no big issue for me though because I have more than enough outlets to use and could plug it into a surge protector if I did not have a lot of outlets to you.All in all: This is a great quality extender. It works very well. As long as you follow instructions it’s easy to use. Although it says to put phone on airplane more I didn’t and typed in the IP address on instruction. Set us is as simple as plug it in near the router, find it using Wi-Fi on your phone, click connect and type in your pass word from your router, rename the Wi-Fi extender if you want. The set up is then complete and you move it near the room or place you need Wi-Fi boost. They say put it in the middle between router and area you need Wi-Fi but this thing is so strong no need to be exact.

Strong Signal Outdoors
I enjoy spending time in my garden with my tablet or laptop, but previously the Wi-Fi signal was weak or non-existent in that area. After installing this outdoor wifi extender, the signal strength improved dramatically, matching the quality we get inside the house. Now, whether I’m reading, streaming videos, or working outside, I have reliable and fast internet. It’s made my outdoor time more productive and enjoyable, and I don’t have to worry about losing connection anymore.

An extender that works
I bought this little extender to connect to a wireless security camera and doorbell camera that are about 80 feet from my wireless router. The device was easy to set up and did a great job given the distance I needed it to cover. My security camera booted up much faster on my phone, my camera doorbell became much more reliable, and I was able to carry on a two way conversation with visitors after it’s installation. I have been able to use 4 devices simultaneously on this extender so that’s not an issue. What was especially convenient was that the although the router broadcast a signal with the original router name with _EXT added on, everything connected to it without having to change the login credentials on each device. I set up the router extender and tested it at the comfort of my desk, unplugged it, and relocated it to the outlet where I wanted it without it losing the set up info. All in all, this product performed the advertised function well and exceeded my expectations regarding setup and signal strength.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I built a home theater in the basement, but the projector could not connect to the Internet due to poor wifi signal. After I bought this wifi extender, the projector got a good wifi signal and can watch youtube HD videos online. The setup is also very simple and can be completed in just a few steps.
