Not bad but not a Samsung Galaxy
I ordered this phone as a backup for my Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus. It was starting to be very selective about how and when it wanted to charge. I had the repairs done; however, there were SIM card issues, and I had to wait for parts to come in.Meanwhile, I put my T-Mobile SIM in this phone, and it works as it should. I can’t say that I love it, but I’m extremely happy to have it while I wait for my S21 Plus to be repaired again.If you have an Android already, you won’t have any trouble using this phone. The speed is fine, it has a large screen, a large amount of memory, and the basic apps to get you started.It works with 4G, but I have 5G on my Samsung Galaxy from T-Mobile. I’m in the foothills of the mountains, and I’m only getting one signal bar on this phone while I get four bars on my Galaxy. However, I can still stream Roku with this cheap phone using the hotspot.My two big complaints are the awful quality of the photos that it takes. I’ve installed several camera apps in an attempt to get better quality, and I was able to improve the quality slightly. I use my camera quite a bit most days, so for me, this camera just won’t do.Secondly, while it’s great that it came with a screen protector and a phone case, I have not been able to find any accessories at all, which could be a deal breaker if the phone is purchased for long-term use or as a phone for kids.Overall, though, I do think it’s a good phone for the price.

My grandmother was always super impressed by how easy it is to operate when using mine. I told her, Samsung offers budget friendly phones that are similar to the S-series but she is too nervous to switch.Just as I was going to purchase her a budget Samsung model, I came across this non-branded unlocked phone. I figured why not take a chance on this generic Samsung Galaxy S dupe, and I’ve been genuinely impressed with what it offers, especially given the price point. For anyone looking for a large-screen Android phone without breaking the bank, this is a surprisingly capable device.Before gifting this to my grandmother, I obviously had to test it out.First off, the 6.75-inch screen is fantastic.It’s bright, vibrant, and provides an immersive experience whether I’m watching videos, Browse the web, or playing games. The size makes it perfect for media consumption.The 8-core high-speed chip coupled with 4GB of RAM delivers a surprisingly smooth performance for everyday basic tasks.
